Show Notes - Google Challenge and more

google_logo_1_small.jpgandroid_adc.gifSome of you that listen on a regular basis have been asking about the Google Developer challenge I mentioned last week. Essentially Google has launched the Android Developer Challenge, which will provide $10 million in awards -- no strings attached -- for great mobile apps built on the Android platform. The challenge is broken into to 2 phases. In the first phase, the 50 most promising entries received by March 3 will each receive a $25,000 award to fund further development. Those selected will then be eligible for even greater recognition via ten $275,000 awards and ten $100,000 awards. Phase 2 of the challenge happens mid-late next year after the android software starts showing up on cellphones.

Here is the website for more info, GOOD LUCK - go make some apps and make some money$$$
