4-18-05 Made it! I arrived today at NAB2005!!!

Made it! I arrived today at NAB2005. This is the SuperBowl of the Broadcasting Industry conventions. Last year 97,544 attendees arrive and the exhibitors covered 796,000 sq feet of space. This event showcases the latest ieas and innovations across all areas of media technology! This show gives clear insight as to where the industry is heading from all corners of the globe (does a globe have corners? :-)

monorail.bmpAnyway, this morning I caught the monorail ($3us one way) to the convention center and arrived in 10mins flat from the hotel. The monorail was standing room only - full of NAB 2005 attendees. There are various cultures represented. It was a great and easy ride. First order of business is to obtain my media pass and badge and quickly make it to the opening keynote speech. More dtails and photos, photos, photos coming soon!
