If there is one word in technology today that will save you time and money, it is “cloud’.
The cloud concept is a huge money saver for everyone who uses technology. Especially when using computers and peripherals. The need for many types of software that had to be installed on your machine in the past is now eliminated. You can maintain and archive files, upload, download and edit photos and documents, as well as edit and share spread sheets and presentations all in the cloud.
This saves huge amounts of money as many of the applications to accomplish these tasks are free or reasonably inexpensive.
The software resides on a virtual server, instead of on your local server or other machine, and can be accessed from anywhere that you can get on to the internet, which is literally almost anywhere worldwide.
Devices can be smaller, have less hard drive space, or no hard drive at all. Failure of a machine does not mean the loss of all your critical files, folders and data, as they reside securely in the cloud. Imagine using a small folding tablet computer for all your work, and storing all the needed data on a distant virtual server, secure in the fact that it will be there when you need it.
Imagination is not really necessary, as this time and money saver is now reality.

The Good
Technology has allowed us to connect with family and friends all over the world. We make new friends and learn new things instantly. People take classes online and get a degree at any school without going to the classroom physically. Technology also helps us earn money when we work at home.

The Bad
Addiction to technology: People don’t make time for the real world anymore; their whole life is online. Being technology dependent: Technology gives us the answers to so many questions in seconds, so your brain gets lazy. Also technology advances so much and so fast that what you thought was hip is now out of style.

The Ugly
Parents can’t even talk to their kids anymore because the kids are online constantly; as a result families become disconnected. Relationships break up because a spouse can easily go online and find out info. Sex offenders, stalkers and all kinds of creeps are online too; you can’t tell who is legit and who isn’t. Cyberbullying, pornography, and sexting are unfortunately growing trends now. Having a fight can’t be done using technology either; the words you type may mean one thing, but to the receiver it means something else.

A lot of people ask us about whether or not they should switch to a mobile internet provider like clear internet. We can’t say for certain that mobile internet’s right for you but there are a few things to consider when you’re thinking about making the jump to the internet’s newest technology
“Do you live in a service area?” Many people don’t realize most mobile internet providers only cover them in certain metropolitan areas. They’re adding more regions all the time but check first to avoid hassles later.
“Are you on the go?” If you only tend to use internet at home, perhaps mobile 4G isn’t the best bet for you. But if you often find yourself in the car needing internet connectivity or having trouble doing what you need on a mobile phone an internet dongle can be a good solution.
“Can you afford it?” Many people actually save when they switch to mobile internet and cancel their DSL but you should consider what you-re going to cancel and what you-re going to be doubling up on before you make the change.

Technology constantly amazes me. It doesn’t seem long ago that my family only had one phone in our house, mounted on the wall of the kitchen. It was a big deal when my brother and I bought my parents an answering machine (which went unused because they couldn’t figure it out). But last month, I called my wife from the mountains of Spain. There were no telephones there, but I used a computer the size of a book to call her cell phone and wish her happy birthday. Amazing.

We live in an age where everything is quite literally at our fingertips. We can watch movies, talk in real-time (and with no static) to someone on the other side of the world, and watch satellite images of the storm rolling in to blanket our town, and all at the same time from one place. Phones aren’t just for talking anymore. I can watch a movie, listen to music, or read War and Peace on a device that fits in my hand.

The world is changing, and soon we could have 3D computer displays, or phones that fit in our ear. The best gadgets are forever ahead on the horizon. Amazing!

Search Engines are computer programs or codes which access data from around the World Wide Web and organize it based on the location of the information, or the website/webpage address, the tags used to describe the particular resource or webpage, and the content which is present inside the webpage. When we enter one or more terms into the search engine, it retrieves the related information from its database of webpages it had fetched and organized earlier, and the links to those web pages are displayed as Search Results.

Search Engines are to the World Wide Web or the internet what the skeleton is to our body. Without search engines, the billions of webpages with trillions of words, pictures, videos and other media would be useless and inaccessible to most of us. Each year billions of dollars are spent just to improve the way we search the internet. Given the recent boom in the number of blogs and websites, in addition to the heightened awareness of how search engines work, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the people behind the search engines to filter out useless and duplicate information from the useful content.

The best search engines have been developing new algorithms or technologies to provide the most authentic information to their users, and simultaneously ensure that new and updated content is presented too, so as not to get outdated! Search Engines are clearly the cutting edge of all information related technology!

With all the new tablets on the market you may be tempted to buy one, but do you really need a tablet? People that are in the market for a new laptop or netbook, may be trying to choose between a tablet and a laptop. For some people a tablet might be the better purchase, while for others getting a laptop will suffice. It all comes down to what you will be doing with the device.

If you just need something to browse the web, check email and watch videos on, the tablet is the perfect choice for you. It is mobile and starts up in no time at all. The lack of a physical keyboard will not be an issue for you. Many tablets out there can play video in high definition and the battery life can be 8 to 10 hours.

If you are going to a lot of typing and need to use processor heavy applications, the laptop will be a better choice for you. Although it is true that you can get an external keyboard for your tablet, that will only make it a weak version of a laptop. Why not get the real deal if you need it?You thought this was good? Brace yourself: Review: Eee Pad Tablet Transforms into Laptop
