Emerging technologies and your family: what to choose? It’s a fair question, considering the amazing choices available to the typical household these days. While every family is different, emerging technologies that embrace better use of time and/or money have proven to be a smash hit with many families out there.

Best of all, they have amazing battery life and provide users the ability to participate with the world around them without being tied to a typical laptop screen.

No matter which direction you happen to go with emerging technologies for your family, the key is to find a family based niche and then fill it. This approach alone, will ensure the new technology in the house is of benefit and not a distraction instead. Ignore this advice, spend strictly on what the latest and greatest is, you’ll find that your new products will not be nearly as appreciated. At the end of the day, the choice is up to you.
